Hyundai Gets In The Holiday Spirit And Donates Six 2018 Hyundai Ioniq Hybrid Vehicles To Three National Parks

Hyundai Motor America is known for its commitment to making the world a better place, especially with its support of America's national parks. That's why, to keep in the spirit of the holiday season, they have donated six 2018 Hyundai Ioniq Hybrid models to three fantastic national parks. Two Ioniq models were given to the Blue Ridge Parkway in Virginia and North Carolina, two were given to the Santa Monica Mountains National Recreation Area in California, and two were given to the National Capital Parks (East), right near us in Washington, D.C.

These fuel-efficient models will go to use immediately. These parks are quite large and very spread out. Instead of using gas guzzling vehicles, the park attendants will be able to go from each facility, building, and visitor center without spending a lot in gas and while saving our environment a little bit more each time they drive.

Reginald Chapple, the division chief of Partnerships And Philanthropy for the National Park Service said, "The National Park Service is grateful to Hyundai for this donation, which reflects the long-standing tradition of private sector support for national parks and the National Park Service." He also stated, "The donation also supports our effort to convert our fleet to fuel-efficient vehicles to increase sustainability and reduce costs." There is no doubt that these 2018 Hyundai Ioniq Hybrids will go to good use and are donated to a wonderful purpose.
