What’s The Difference Between The 2018 Hyundai Santa Fe And The 2019 Hyundai Santa Fe?

August 8th, 2018 by

The new 2019 Hyundai Santa Fe isn’t what you would imagine. The 2019 Hyundai Santa Fe is replacing the 2018 Hyundai Santa Fe Sport. Yes, you heard us right. The “Sport” title has been dropped and the 2019 Hyundai Santa Fe is now the five-passenger crossover SUV that we all know and love.

What are the differences between the previous 2018 Hyundai Santa Fe and the future 2019 Hyundai Santa Fe?

Size – The 2018 Santa Fe could hold up to seven passengers, but the 2019 Santa Fe can comfortably fit up to five. If you’re looking for the third row, don’t worry. The seven-passenger Santa Fe is still available, just as the 2019 Hyundai Santa Fe XL.
Powertrain – The Sport’s power is coming along for the 2019 Santa Fe ride, but switches its six-speed automatic transmission for an eight-speed.
Technology – The 2019 Santa Fe will receive many upgraded technological features, which will come standard on most models. These include the Blind Spot Monitoring with Rear Cross-Traffic Alert safety programs, Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ connectivity, and much more, all standard in even the base trim.
Trim Levels – Currently, the Santa Fe is available in three trims with optional packages available. In the 2019 version, you’ll have five trim levels from which you can choose.
There are many other features that will be upgraded or revamped for the 2019 Hyundai Santa Fe Sport and we are looking forward to getting behind the wheel of one of these stunning new vehicles.
